Your funder will send you a letter to confirm it's received a penalty charge notice (PCN) for a vehicle on lease to you, and the liability is transferred to you as the hirer.

The letter may just be for your information; you don’t need to do anything yet.

Once you receive the PCN from the issuer, you'll need to follow their instructions.
