Once a private parking company receives your appeal, they must stop processing the penalty charge notice or PCN immediately. The company then has 14 days to acknowledge your appeal, and a further 35 days to respond with a decision.

In exceptional circumstances the private parking company can extend this period, provided they let you know they’ll do this.
